Forest Therapy Trail
Immerse yourself deeply into Nature!
The practice of forest bathing originated in Japan, they call it Shinrin Yoku, which translates to “bathing in the atmosphere of the forest” or “forest bathing”. Research shows that bathing in the forest atmosphere through your senses can boost your immune system, reset your nervous system, clear your thinking, and foster a deep sense of relaxation. What better way to take care of your mental, emotional, and physical health! At the trail head of the trail you will see a box with a laminate sheet. On the sheet are 8 invitations for you to do as you walk/move slowly towards box #2. Take as much time as you wish to do the 8 invitations. Then at box #2 you will have a few more invitations for you to do as you soak up this time of slowing down and being in nature!
