Dear Friends,
Well, here we are in September and the change is palatable in the air....the shifting from Summer to Fall. We moved through the season of play and growth and are now moving into the season of harvest and reflection. So much has happened over the last 2 months from beautiful Retreats with beautiful people, to children laughing and screaming in de light in the mud baths beside the River, to personal retreats in the River Room, to powerful Shamanic Drumming sessions, to lovely rafting trips down the Blaeberry River! Every moment has been wonderful! Oh yea and eating fresh vegetables, strawberries and raspberries from the garden...that is definitely worth noting! Even if you live in an apartment you can still grow sprouts & some window sill crops such as tomatoes. The main thing is to go to Farmer's Markets and buy locally! Most grocery store food is "processed" & therefore GM (genetically modified) so please do yourself and the world a favour & buy organic. It may cost you a bit more but you get 10x's the nutrients and your not supporting Monsanto; one of the evilist corporations in the world. Besides if you eat crap, it you will cost you more in medical bills later and less vitality now.
sending heart songs,
Brian & Annette

BENEFITS OF MUD/CLAY BATHING

We've had a wonderful summer of MUD here at Quantum Leaps. With all the rain in July and then the hot August days;
it made for a perfect summer of "wallowing" in the mud and in fact perfect for taking in the healing properties of this
magical Blaeberry Clay. We were blessed in June to have one of our guests show us the deeper blessings of the clay. As a trained geologist, she gave us the physical breakdown of the clay and how truly healing it really is. The Clay (smedite) is a flocculent..that means it helps to release toxins from the body. After serious mudding, you do need to take it seriously and replace your bodies moisture with 8 glasses of water. The Clay is water loving; so it draws out your water (and toxins). Here is a little write up for our Quantum Leaps Mud Baths....
Why does mud bathing work?
Mud bathing goes back to Egyptian times. Cleopatra bathed in the black mud of the Dead Sea
frequently as part of her beauty routine.
Why take a mud bath?
To begin with its very relaxing. The soft mixture of the Blaeberry River mud on our banks simply sucks the stress out. The warm temperature makes you perspire, the hydrophilic nature of our Blaeberry River mud can improve your complexion, relax you muscles, and flocculate your toxins. This cleansing process can offer health benefits at many levels. And it just feels so good. It is recommended to drink 6-8 glasses of water after each mudding.
The magic of mud bathing
Mud bathing is a wonderful, freeing way to bond with friends & family. You can be free, playful, and giggle and laugh the afternoon away! Ahhh so much fun! We love hearing the laughter and screams carry up from the River.
A relaxing massage is a great way to conclude your mudding experience. Contact one of our staff for more details to arrange a time.
The season of serious Mud Bathing has now passed for the summer as we move into September....though a nice foot soak once in a while is still lovely as the Salmon return in the River and the Bald Eagles fly overhead.....MAGIC! Also we now have a Platinum foot Spa for a thorough detoxification ($50/session for a 1 hour treatment). For more information go to http://www.theplatinumexperience.ca/index.html
See you in Summer 2012 for the Mud Experience!

CROP CIRCLES OF SUMMER 2011
Another season of Crop Circles in England and around the world is coming to an end. Once
again the "others" have created some amazing and unique messages for us humans.
Brian and I are going to visit these areas in October, though the Crop Circles won't be there anymore, the
energy of this part of the world will be amazing to take in. We will visit Stonehenge, Glastonbury etc. Brian's daughter Jasmyn will run the show whilst were away. Jasmyn is a yoga teacher and massage therapist.
We will report back on all our amazing adventures ,spiritual, trainings and experiences in our next Newsletter.
