South Point Cottage

This is a beautiful five bedroom and two bathroom log cottage. Recently built from Rocky Mountain Douglas Fir, the logs make up the first floor of the cottage and provide a very warm rustic atmosphere. The upper floor has been partially finished with beautiful fir siding and low windows were added to provide a scenic outdoor view from several of the beds (see bedroom photo on the right). This large cottage will be spacious for two people and pleasantly cozy for a big family. There is a large kitchen and living room area complete with a radiant-heat wood stove. A well-stocked wood pile can be found at the back of the Cottage.  There is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen-size log-frame bed. 

Upstairs there are four bedrooms... two each with double beds and two each with a set of two twin beds. In total, there is enough room for up to 10 people. The large balconies provide a beautiful view of the Blaeberry River valley and mountains beyond. On the main-floor balcony you will find a barbecue and on the upper balcony a massage table. The main floor bathroom includes a convenient stand-up shower while the upstairs bathroom has a large Jacuzzi tub for your private relaxation. Also, the hot tub at the main lodge is available to all our cottage guests between the hours of 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. 

Please note: there is no TV in this accommodation and the cottage phone is setup for free local or calling-card long distance calls.

Please note that all our cottage rentals have private baths and FULLY equipped kitchens that include: tea, coffee, sugar, spices, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, and organic eggs from our chickens. All comfy bedding (linens and duvets) and towels are provided.
