Dear Friends, As I sit and write this newsletter, there is a winter wonderland outside with 10 cm of the white stuff! The Chickadees and Nuthatches are at the bird feeder nibbling away on delicious sunflower seeds. Even a Stellar Jay stopped by to say hello. The Red Squirrel will come in once in a while to scare everyone away. It is truly a joy to watch. So Winter is here! May your Winter be filled with lots of laughter and joy. We still have room during Christmas up until New Years in our Cliff House; perfect for a getaway for an individual, couple, or small family. We are settling down for a cozy winter by the fire and beautiful days outside cross country skiing and snowshoeing. In between we will be planning for Spring/Summer/Fall 2012 and putting together the new line up of Retreats. Stay tuned for our complete line up. Also for April 2012, we will be looking for a dynamic individual or couple to come and join our Quantum Leaps team as a staff person. Skills in gardening, maintenance, cooking, housekeeping, and customer service will be taken into consideration. If this interests you or you know of someone who may be perfect for this position, have them contact us and we will send them a Job Description. If this individual/couple are not skilled in Cooking for groups then we will also be looking for a Cook to make delicious food for our Retreats! sending love,
Quantum Leaps Lodge ***ATTENTION We are looking to getaway to be students again in Jan/Feb. 2012 so we are looking for a competent individual or couple to come look after things at Quantum Leaps from around January 20th through to Feb. 10th 2012 (dates are still flexible). Please be in touch if you or someone you know may be interested in spending time in a beautiful environment for 3 weeks or so. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Report back from the Isle of Mighty I am happy to report back that the Goddess is alive and well in the Ancient land that we traveled to this October. What a blessing it was to enter into that metamorphic field. We found sacred stone circles, crop circles, and oh yea lots of traffic circles! Our journey took us to ancient (dating 4000BC) stone circles whose energy is still alive and well. When you tap into the true source and reason behind these ancient circles, there is a beautiful energy. At Stonehenge you just had to ignore the 100's of other people milling about listening to the audio tour! For me Stonehenge is a power spot for sure...there is no doubt about that. Avebury's energy reminded me of our Labyrinth; a real angelic and gentle/heartful place. And the other Stone Circles we visited, Castlerigg and Stanton Drew, were both ancient and healing as well. The other place of power we visited was Glastonbury (aka Avalon), the White and Red Spring, and the Tor. The town of Glastonbury is an amazing place with Merlin like characters walking down the street, Witch shops, and crystal shops etc. The Tor is an amazing energy. So beautiful and compelling. Anyways here are some photos for you to see and if you are ever able to get there I would highly recommend it! We have so much gratitude for the journey! We are forever changed by this time we spent at the sacred sites.

The Red Spring on the Left and the Tor on the Right, Glastonbury ps. do you remember our last newsletter (go to summer 2011) where we posted a photo of a crop circle of a Grey with a pipe...WELL we actually found this crop circle by accident on our travels. An amazing coincidence! The grain had re-seeded itself and it was regrowing in the shape that was formed. And the lucky thing was that the farmer had not plowed it under yet. A dream come true, to sit in a crop circle! Here I am waiting for the "mothership" to take me away "smile".....
________________________________________________________________________________________________ Eco Village Proposal Annette and I were very fortunate to visit and receive a message or two from the Sacred Sites in England and at the Findhorn Eco Village/Community in Northern Scotland. All though our plan for an Eco Village, on the 38 acres next to Quantum Leaps Lodge, is very simple let me first tell you what is so exciting about Findhorn. It is a spiritual community/eco Eco Villages use the best alternative and ecological technologies to create a sustainable environment and culture. Creative permacultural projects are not only fulfilling they are FUN! Imagine a daily life with exuberance and aliveness that actively and artistically puts spiritual values into practice; building homes together, growing and preparing food together, singing, dancing, and having fun together. People exchange hours with the system called Local Exchange Trading Systems (LETS). An ecovillage can be described as a human settlement which inspires to be ecological, economical, culturally, socially, and spiritually sustainable. This invitation (to co-create the 38 acres north of QL) is meant for those of you that see this as truly a unique and rare opportunity for a handful of spiritual, dynamic, visionary couples/families to come together.
