| Breath and Inspiration;
A Holotropic Breathwork Retreat
with
Jane Cooper and Carolyn Green
|
|
Dates:
May 11-13th, 2012
|

Holotropic Breathwork is a powerful method of self exploration, personal transformation and
healing. It is based on and combines insights from modern consciousness research, depth psychology and various
spiritual practices. Through breathing, evocative music and focused release work, non-ordinary states of consciousness
are induced. These states allow mobilization of the spontaneous potential of the
psyche. Mandala drawing and group processing of the experiences are additional important elements used in the holotropic
process. During this Retreat each participant will have the opportunity to breath and then an opportunity to sit for someone
who is breathing. On Sunday morning we will continue to honor our journey by spending time together in the sacred
tradition of a Sweatlodge ceremony. This will further your
cleansing and deepen your experience. For more information go to The Secret of Breath website.
The weekend begins Friday 8pm (arrive anytime after 4pm MST)
and will continue until Sunday at 2pm.
Wow! Breathwork is the most powerful technique I have found for launching a new round of personal growth and
clearing out stuck patterns. “With Jane and Carolyn, breathwork can be a gentle spiritual awakening, or a fast-paced launch
into inner-space – they’ll help you find yourself through the breath.” Together they offer a safe, exciting, and welcoming format
for profound, exhilarating, and healing experiences.” Jay P. Dufrechou, Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology, Helena, Montana, USA

Carolyn Green, BHSc (Physiotherapy), PhD is an innovative health practitioner, researcher and educator. She became a Certified Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator in 1999 and has been conducting workshops ever since. This is her heart work. Her mission is to free people to live healthier lives. Having embarked on her own inner journey of self-exploration and personal transformation in 1993, she loves to share this powerful work with others. Early experiences as a physiotherapist in West Africa, the Caribbean, China and Nepal made it easier to transition out of limiting western paradigms of body, consciousness and health.

Jane Cooper, BSc, CLSC, walks with an abundance of direct experience and training in the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness. Her own personal journey has taken her through Africa where she apprenticed with a traditional healer and she continues her own self-exploration through sweat lodges and Sundance’s throughout North America. Jane started training with Stan Grof in 1993 and has apprenticed with pioneers of this powerful method for many years.
Currently she is raising twins, instructs counseling and ethics at a post secondary facility, manages a training program for a non-profit organization and co-facilitates Holotropic Breathwork workshops. It is her journey of spirit, healing and courage that inspires others to move beyond their own perceived limitations. Being the mother of twin boys has brought depth and life to her natural talent as a midwife in the healing journey of others.
