Brian Olynek brings the ancient practice of firewalking into a contemporary setting while integrating the wisdom he acquired during his many visits to the Esalen Center in California. Brian is a gentle teacher and motivator, always honoring that the fire is truly the teacher.

This workshop will give you the tools to empower your life so that you can work and play, live and love 100%; to be in the flow; to embrace life's magical moments! And at the same time we are keeping alive the sacred nature of an ancient ritual. Fire Walking has been practiced by people all over the world for 1000's of years. It serves as an unforgettable demonstration of human potential and a way to deeply connect with the living consciousness of this earth.

The Dancing with the Fire seminar is a five hour ritual conducted in the evening, with the firewalking done after sunset. The participants take an active role in coming together as a group to build and bless the fire. As the large wood fire burns down into a bed of hot coals, we explore the nature of personal and shared reality, while learning to transform fear and limiting beliefs.

Our goal during this seminar is to let go of what stops us from being 100% in life. We move through different activities to lead us finally to the final event of the evening the firewalk. The dancing is initiated and those who choose to can join in the experience. All participation is voluntary and the evening, no matter what you do, is always a powerful teaching

Brian Olynek

Brian "O" is the founder of Quantum Leaps Lodge. A resident in the Blaeberry valley since 1974, he has been blessed with the wonderful opportunity to continually create/caretake this beautiful retreat/ lodge and workshop centre. In past years he has lead numerous adventure tours and wilderness experience workshops in such places as the Grand Canyon, Mexico, Nepal, Bali, China, Australia, New Zealand and the remote northern Canada and Alaska.

Brian has studied and taught in places like the world famous Esalen Center in California and has been licensed in various areas of personal growth movement and in outdoor activities such as White Water Rafting, Firewalking, Holotropic Breathwork, and Massage. For a number of years Brian ran a successful Rafting Adventure Company based in Golden, BC. He did the first descents on many rivers, including the Kicking Horse and Blaeberry rivers.

Brian has nurtured a passion for outdoor adventure and the inner life of Spirit since his youth in the Crowsnest Pass region of British Columbia. He is both an accomplished outdoor person and a perceptive teacher and guide
