Beyond the Coming Chaos

In this retreat, Carolyn will tell ancient stories using an African drum to assist you in accessing and utilizing the cache of inner treasure available to you. With it, we are all more equipped to navigate our way through unprecedented transitions and their reverberations in our lives and psyches. There will be experiential exercises and group process to support your own healing and community building. Weather permitting, you will also have the opportunity to deepen your connection with nature with stimulating exercises outdoors on the beautiful land.

Carolyn Baker, Ph.D.

Carolyn Baker, Ph.D., is the author of five books including Sacred Demise: Walking The Spiritual Path of Industrial Civilization’s Collapse.  She works with Transition Colorado in Boulder on Transition Times, a global online newspaper of the worldwide Transition movement. She was a psychotherapist in private practice for 17 years and an adjunct professor of psychology and history for 11 years. She manages her website Speaking Truth to Power at CarolynBaker.net which publishes a Daily Digest of alternative news and options focused on preparing for the “long emergency.”
